Finished Blog Conclusion

Over this year I have improved hugely In my skills of making films, learning shots and understanding digital media. We have made a film opening of 2 minutes which we are very proud of and achieved our target audience. 

At the beginning of the year I didn't have any idea on using editing software and over this year my skills have improved hugely until reaching a point were I can edit a film opening without any problem. Sincerely, in September I didn't expected that I was going to dominate these editing software as I do nowadays.

I used iMovie to make my Practice Task which was very fun to record, and finally I used Movie Maker to edit our Final Film Opening. With Movie Maker, I really learned how to use editing software although I used many more types of software which I can use without any trouble.

My team has worked brilliant and we have complemented and helped each other , each of us have contributed in many ideas and we have tried to achieve the best result possible. It has been fantastic to work with them this year and we hope to work next year as a group again.

Finally, i'm very proud of all the work I have done and of all the progress I have achieved in Media Studies and Media Production which has helped me a lot and use many types of software efficiently that I can use in the future for several tasks.

Our Final Film Opening!!

Hi everyone!!! Here Is my final film opening. One of the most important part of my blog.

This year we had many classes about camera shots, camera angles, sounds, convention and many other points, all the things I learned were practiced on my final film opening and Im very happy about our final result.

We have worked very hard and spent lots of hours working on our film and trying to make it the best as possible, Finally I love the result and I hope you also love it As I do!!!!!

Promoting our Film

We have been thinking about different ways of how could we promote our film, we selected many ideas and came to the conclusion that the best way Is by Social Media, Painted T-shirts and Posters.

We have created a Instagram page to promote our film, this was One of the ideas we had. Nowadays young people (10-20) use social networks frequently and many people can get to know our film, its a fast,free,and usefull way of promoting our film. We also used a facebook user so people from older ages (20-30) which use facebook can see our film and by that way we also promote our film

Furthermore, we made some t-shirts and a sweater with the title of our film, by this we can reach more audience. Personally I think its a great idea because people will think Is a very popular film and will have some interest of watching it. On the other hand the t-shirt and sweater has a cost but it will be worth it as we will have more audience

Our last idea Is to create some posters about the film, we can locate them in many places, it has to be visible for people and In a place were lots of people can see it like In the Cinema, the street, bus-stops.... This method will be effective as people will see the posters and Is not too expensive

Editing Experience

Hi bloggers!! Here Is my experience editing the film.

Our editing experience was one of the most difficult parts of the entire procces. We used Movie Maker which was a program a liked since I used it previously, It took a long time for us to decide which scene was the best as we recorded many scenes as possible so at the end we could selected the best one. It also took many time to select the appropiate music and synchronize it with the video, this part was one of the hardest because it was very hard to adjust the music with the video but it was a crutial part so the viewer can feel more the tension of the film.

We also introduced some Fade In at the end of the music to make it lower and the next music starts without a huge change since we had more than one music In the film opening, furthermore we spend a lot of time cutting scenes and making them perfect so they can fit perfectly on our movie.

Moreover we had a problem with the time of the film because we thought we had the correct time but we didnt, so we needed to record new scenes so we have the right time.

Finally we finished the editing of the film after some weeks and we were very happy with our final result!

Sound

Today in class we decided what type of music we are putting to our film.

We had many ideas and it was not easy to agree on the final decision but finally we came to an agreement and we used in the first part a terror music to create an atmosphere of intrigue, secondly we add a more tension sound so the viewer feels more alert.

The music we used Is a video of horror sound on youtube we founded. Even though the video was very long we only selected one part.

We selected the first minutes for our stablishing shots, when the girl starts to run we finished the first music with a fast fade so the sound gets lower and continue to this music the tension sound starts and the girl begins to run and more tension Is created

Final Logo

This Is our Final Logo!!! We have make some changes, the logo was more horizontal and we edit it so it was for vertical. Also we putted tha name of the company of the logo.

At the end it has a better design and I think Is very attractive 

3rd Day Filming

Hello Everyone!!! In our last day of filming we recorded the last shots of the film opening, we recorded our common scenes.

We used a prop (phone) and when the kidnapper Jake kidnaps Lidia, that was a scene we recorded many time as we wanted to be perfect and real.

We recorded as the same time as the dayus before so we have the same lighting and the whole film appears to be filmed in one day

We enjoy a lot the whole procces and had a wonderfull time, at the end we were very happy for the results and I hope you all like it a lot!

2nd Day Filming

Hey bloggers!! In our second day we focused more on my character (Jake) and recorded the shoots were Jake was looking for Lidia

We recorded at the same time as Day 1 which Is at 13.00 pm, so we had the same lighting

The temperature was a sunny day but it was a little cold.

We also had a great time and enjoy the filming procces a lot, after many shoots we almost had an accident with the triped but nothing went wronge and we recorded every shoot perfectly.

During the filming procces my pants were getting dirty and we needed to clean them frequently, the old station wasnt very clean as you'll can see.

1st Day Filming

Hi everyone!!! For our first day of filming we went to the old station and tried to enter to the place because there was a fence we had to jump.

Secondly we recorded the stablishing shots and also the scenes were the main character (Lidia) was running from the Kidnapper.

 We had a great time because we needed to repeat the scenes many time as we were laughing.

Research on audience

Today we are going to be finding what type of audience like Horror movies, this Is because our film oppening Is of horror so by doing this we cann see what do our audience like and dislike and Improve it so Is more attractive to them.
